How quickly can we install a timber frame house on-site?

Target’s timber frame systems come as a complete package for a house, including all fixings. Better still, our team can fully erect a timber frame house, including wall panels and roof trusses, in just a few days.

Once the foundations of the site are complete, clear from debris, and fully accessible, our specialist installation team take over the project.

This begins with the erection of scaffolding to the first storey in preparation for the timber frame components. These are then crane-lifted directly on to the footprint of the property.

How is a timber frame house constructed?

The installation of a timber frame starts with the installation of steel sole plates that are anchored to the floor slab to provide strong support for the wall frames. The internal walls, floor decks, and roof truss are then expertly erected.

The installation is overseen by the site project manager who will also liaise with the customer and building control.

Once the timber frame superstructure is installed, it’s then ready for the roof tiles to be laid and windows to be fitted. This ensures that the house is wind and watertight and ready for first fixing.

As a full-service manufacturer, we can design, prefabricate and install timber frame systems. This complete service saves customers time and money, and ultimate, peace of mind.

Of course, we can simply supply you with the timber frame to build yourself, but we do urge you to check your installer’s credentials.
